Detroit Ronald McDonald House

In Southeast Michigan, we are proud to have Ronald McDonald Houses in both Detroit and Ann Arbor. These houses provide accommodations for 54 families every night. While at the House, families find nutritious meals, enhanced computer resources to stay in touch with family and friends, and support and understanding from staff, volunteers, and especially from each other. Families are charged a nominal fee, which represents approximately 40% of the actual cost of their stay, but no one is turned away if unable to pay.
Many companies and individuals already generously support the national Ronald McDonald House Charities program however, 100% of the funds raised from the Aviators' Ball stay locally, benefiting the Ann Arbor and Detroit Ronald McDonald Houses.
Only steps away from premier medical facilities at Children's Hospital of Michigan , the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit provides safe and secure living facilities and services for families of sick children for a nominal fee. The Detroit House had been operating for nearly 30 years, providing a "home away from home" to families with hospitalized children.
